Mini shopping spree

I went to Watford this morning with Elle, and we had a little shopping spree. Mainly I went to buy this Wednesday Adams' style dress from Primark, but it was the most unflattering, disgusting dress I've ever tried on. Instead I brought this really sweet plain black dress. It looks even prettier with a white shirt underneath (bonus!).

Also I wanted a tartan scarf for a while, and was looking for in H&M I'd seen online, but they didn't have it. So we pottered about Primark for a little while longer and I found one in there for £4! Bargain! It's so soft too, I love it. I couldn't resist picking up this phone case from Primark for £2, polka dots are so cute.

Finally I managed to get my hands on the Kate Moss matte range. I have literally been lusting over them for ages, while everyone has been raving about them too. I got the shade in 107 and it's the prettiest lipstick I've ever owned. I'm not a big fan of glossy finish lipsticks, so this matte colour is soo perfect for me. I will probably wear this daily for the rest of my life.

p.s. happy halloween everyone, have you got any plans for tonight?

Christmas Craft Fair

I went to a craft fair today, my mum's best bud's sister hosts them, and she has her own crafty business. There was all sorts of different bits and bobs of the various stalls. There was cute little pieces for you home, handmade jewellery, cakes and some 'vintage' clothing. I had such fun, even though it was absolutely freezing! There was the nicest lady doing proper Indian henna for £3! How can you say no? It looks soo beautiful, but I couldn't take a decent photo of it because it's gone dark. Anywhere here are the few bits I got...

The sweetest guy ever was selling natural bath bits, sort of like Lush. It all smelt beautiful! My mum got an apple and elderflower soap for me, it smells so fresh! She also got some chocolate, coconut and raspberry bath bombs for herself, as well as the little soap dish.

Oops didn't realise how much these blended with my bedsheets! I got these adorable boxes too, they look so pretty and make my room look cute. I've used them for my make up (which was previously in a peg basket!) and nail polishes, my dressing table looks so pretty now!

I recently broke my scrabble ring (a sad moment), so I got a replacement one. It's ten times better made than my other, so will hopefully last longer! Also I was going to get some skull earrings like this from River Island for about £8, but I saw these today for £4.50! They're soo cute, I will definitely be wearing them for Halloween.

winter goth

As soon as winter comes around any hint of colour in my clothes seems to disappear! I'm literally a goth in the winter, all I wear is black. Or if I'm feeling really adventurous maybe white! Next month when I get to spend all my money on me (no more birthdays and Christmas isn't quite here), I'm going to buy some new clothes that are quite bright so that I'm not constantly in black until next summer! This skirt from Topshop will be the first thing I buy, it's  been on the top of my mental wishlist for ages!
Are you guys all really adventurous with colour or do you stick to black/dark colours like me?

my week (and a half) in photos

I've been absent from blogging, because (surprise surprise) I've been ill again! I have literally spent the last two days in bed with the flu, and had no energy to do anything, so here is a little catch up post...

001 - I spent last Monday in bed with the naughty little monkeys, being ill again :-( poor me.

002 - My bed is the comfiest place ever, I love early nights.

003 - I got into the Halloween mood with a cute tea light holder and some bat cookies,  although the cookies ended up tasting not very nice, hate packet mixes!

004 - Yet another photo of bedtime, with my pretty little girl.

005 - Saturday's face

006 - Saturday night in with snacks and the X-factor, I love Ella Henderson loads.

007 - This vaseline is the most beautiful smelling thing ever!

008 - I finally got my nails redone, I absolutely love this colour, wintery colours are so pretty.

009 - The only things to get you through being ill!

05 October 2012

it could of been you, could of been you

top - miss selfridge/ skirt - missguided/ jacket - topshop/ scarf - topshop
First actual outfit of the day post! I'm  so sorry for the picture quality and the messy background but I just really wanted to show you guys this outfit. I love it so much, I'm such a goth honestly, I rarely wear bright colours. The skirt from missguided, is my favourite skirt ever and it's such a bargain (only £14.99!!). I wear my black one all the time, so I also got it in a coral colour for the summer. I wear my leather jacket constantly, it's my favourite piece of clothing because it goes with everything. Everyone should have a nice leather jacket. I teamed this with cute little pumps and also slipped a hoody under my jacket because it was soooo cold today! Luckily I got to finish at lunch and had a warm bubbly bath to get over how cold it was!

I hope you've all had a good day and enjoyed this x

blog illustration

I recently asked Hannah to do me an illustration for me to use as a header and blog button. It's sooo perfect and it really looks like me (or even prettier than me). She was really understanding and did exactly what I wanted! She's really lovely and has a brilliant blog too. Her illustrations are the most beautiful things ever! She doesn't have a set price but just wants a little something for her work and is really open to how much you're willing to pay. I absolutely love this.

Check out her work, it's brilliant and she's absolutely lovely!
